HQ-0034 Hurricane uses stock chain drive
Bolt-in cams for 1450 and 1550cc engines using stock or modified heads. Good power increases throughout the whole RPM range. Makes the mid-range very responsive. This cam is extremely popular with the dealers that use it It could arguably be the best bolt in cam on the market if we had the advertising budget to market it properly.
John’s Performance in Washington state used one of these in a stock 88 cubic inch 2006 Street Glide using a Power Commander and Rhinehart Tru-Dual exhaust. John made 89.8 HP and 95.4 foot pounds of torque. A very impressive dyno sheet and said he could have got more if the customer would have paid for more dyno time.
We have seen the 95 cubic inch motors at 9.6:1 produce 88 HP and 101 foot pounds with stock heads. Timing specs measured at .053" tappet lift Intake 20/36 236 .500" lift Exhaust 51/19 250 .500" lift
HQ-TC-575 Fire Storm chain drive 1999-06 (except ‘06 Dyna) HQ-TC-575-G Fire Storm special gear driven type
This cam was designed for bikes with compression ratios 9.75 - 10.5:1. It will provide very strong torque figures Intake 20/40 240 .575" lift Exhaust 52/24 256 .530" lift
HQ-0036-G * Blizzard special gear driven type
Extended intake timing version of our HQ-0033 series cams. Works best with strokers or motors exceeding 11:1 compression. Very strong upper range making it ideal big motored bikes. Requires our HQ-2007 valve spring kit.

HQ-0038-G * Storm special gear driven type
Extended intake timing version of our HQ-0036 series cams. This is the one for the biggest stroker and large bore motors using high compression. A good example would be an S&S 116 or 124 with compression ratio higher than 11:1. We have seen over 150 horsepower and foot pounds of torque using this cam. Requires our HQ-2007 valve spring kit.

HQ-0037-G * Twin Camzilla
Combination drag and street. We made this cam for the HUGE motors that have become popular recently. It works really well with a healthy increase in compression. These cams are not suitable for stock heads. Very snappy bottom and mid-range. Wait ‘till you hear one idle. Nasty!
