Doug & Joanne,
Now that I have my engine back together and tuned, I wanted to take a minute to make sure you guys know how much I appreciate your recommendations, support, and quality of service. Having called and asked Doug numerous questions, on multiple occasions I really appreciate your patience, genuine concern for your clients, and superior technical expertise. You were very patient with me and I really appreciate that!
I had a really good feeling about your character and very high expectations regarding the quality of you work after our initial conversation. Now that I have the build you recommended installed and tuned all I can say is “WOW”! I am MORE THAN SATISFIED!
The results speak for themselves! 113 HP and 111 ft/lbs of torque from a 98” Twin Cam is incredible! My RoadGlide now pulls like a SuperGlide. It pulls from any RPM and NEVER stops pulling! It is AWESOME! The engine runs smooth, the valve train is quiet, and it starts EASY. What more could I have asked for?
Thanks so much!
Phil McKinney

Doug - I finished the in house build we talked about earlier this week. I used flat top 95" Wisco pistons, milled the heads 0.069" to achieve 10:1 with a 0.030" Cometic gasket. I cleaned up the intake ports and ground a "wing" around the intake guide port. This motor is incredible. Off idle torque and cruise torque is second to none of the motors that has left my shop. The idle is great too. It makes the you will get hurt if you mess with me sound. Approaches the sound of the old shovel head motors but crisp. It will go to the dyno tomorrow to get tuned. I will send you the results and the map. What I like about this motor is drivability, no vibration, sound and plenty of power. I used the AMS lifters which I have found to work the best. The cylinders were bored to fit the pistons 0.003" with a final plateau hone. The motor sounds like a sewing machine. It helps when pinion runout at the cam support plate was 0.015" and deck height was 0.001". Of all the bikes I have built it will hurt to see this one leave. My daily driver is an 01 carb Road King. I am going to russell up a set of 06 heads and intake flanges and to the same thing with you 39 cam. Thank you for sharing you time, knowlege and parts with me.
Stay tuned....
Wilson
ps I am looking forward to the build using your kit next week.

Well guys I can report on our recent trip. We were 2 up with gear, read, heavy/loaded. A couple notes, Before I left we downloaded the canned 203 map and after about 500 miles of breakin, checked color of plugs nice golden brown, right where you want. No haven't done dyno yet, but can tell you, there is no hesitation. We ran from Tucson,Az.in the hi 90's to Durango, Co. and through the passes in rain/hail and freezing weather 8-10000 ft.. No problems. When it came to passing, it just goes!! I was riding with another Heritage Classic '03 and 95 ci. all the same as mine, only difference is he is running 204 cams. If I didn't let up off the throttle I would have run him over when we were passing. I noticed he would downshift to 4th to begin passing, I just left it in 5th. NICE !! Doug, when I spoke to you, you told me this cam would put a smile on my face--YEP sure does!! Oh, heads are stock. Bruce

I emailed you a while back about my 95" build and told you that I'd send you the info once I had it dyno'd. Well, It's at the tuner's now and he called and told me he got it to 107hp/114tq then my rear tire grenaded!! Hopefully the new tire will be in tommorrow and he can finish tuning the 95". He said we're looking at 110-111hp/118-119tq when he's done. I'm pretty damn impressed with your heads and cams. I will send you a copy of the dyno sheet when I get it. These numbers are with a stock throttle body also!! Below is the parts I used in the build allthough I am thinking of switching to a 0033G cam, a H-P Inc. 51mm throttle body and a set of 10.5-1 pistons. I want more torque. About 125 ft lbs. What do you think? Thanks - Kurt Kesterson

Just a note to thank you for your excellent service and products. I also appreciate Doug taking the time to talk with me regarding various performance products and offering advice. I’ve enclosed photos of the latest “Head Quarters Hot Rod”. The bike fired on the first rotation and runs like a wild bull. Thanx Again, Mike Adams.

Dear Mr. Coffey; About two months ago, I decided to have the heads on my 1200 Sportster modified. I took them to my dealer, Earl Small’ Harley-Davidson, in Smyrna, Georgia. I had intended to buy a set of Branch heads, however, the builder recommended that I send my heads to your company. I decided that I would call Head Quarters and find out what your company would suggest.
When I called Head Quarters, I had a very pleasant conversation with a gentleman who asked very specific questions about what modifications the bike already has as well as how I intended to ride the bike. I was asked to include these specs in a letter to be enclosed with the heads on shipment. Your stage 3 modification was agreed on and the heads shipped.
When my heads arrived back at Earl Small’s, Randy had me come over to get a look at them. The workmanship was beautiful and the bike runs great. I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated the personalized service. I feel as though these heads were perfectly matched for my motorcycle.
If anybody wants to hear from a satisfied customer, have them call me. John S. D’Orazio

Dear Doug & Joanne
When an amateur (read non-mechanic) tries to acquaint himself with power theories and facts in order to increase performance in his motorcycle, sometimes he’s met with a degree of impudence and rudeness that boggles the mind. This has never been the case with my limited experience with you all. I really appreciate the courteous, expeditious manner in which you have helped me with advice and tips and shipped your products that I have ordered. You seem to run your business like I think a business should be run.
Thanks for all the help, Tom Montgomery

Hi Doug,
Ihad to write it. It took a while, but I had to tell you. (finally!!). Of all the bolt in cams I’ve tried, and I did try quite a few, the one that impresses me most is the HQ-0024. Nice powerband. Nice behaviour. Quiet.
I’m sold, Jacques (HDR Performance)
