We are offering our 103 inch kits for 2007 and later models in three configurations to suit all possible applications. We call them Touring, Sport Touring and Sport Touring packages will have a compression ratio of 10:1 and should be used on Baggers and heavy Softail models used for two up riding in regions that have steep grades and/or lower octane fuels. (under 91 octane) Sport Touring is set up at 10.5:1 and is preferred for Baggers and heavy Softails that have access to 91+ octane fuel and are mostly driven by a solo rider. These are very reliable combinations but may require a modification in riding style ‘if’ lower, less than 91 octane, fuel is purchased. Usually this means down shifting to pass (eliminating detonation) instead of just rolling it on. Sport packages are set up at 11:1 compression ratios and are only for use on lighter bikes like Dynas and Softail Deuces or some custom builds.

Larger carbs and throttle bodies will increase HP and decrease Torque.
Special Note: * 1999 through 2006 models can also be turned into 103 motors with the use of a 4-3/8” stroke crank. *
Optional Parts: Cams, cam gears, pushrods, pushrod covers, hydraulic lifters, exhaust venturis, ignitions and carb jetting (where required) are all available and recommended.
