It’s our opinion, and that of experienced tuners, that drilling the air-port in the slide or replacing the spring with a lighter version is detrimental to the CV carb. They are designed to maintain constant velocity, proportional with the engine’s demand for air/fuel, and should not be tampered with in that regard. All these carbs need to out-perform the others, is correct etting and needles. We offer a few simple kits that will ease the task of jetting for you.
