Air Ramp Installation Instructions

This part is for use in S&S breather gears only. It installs after removing the screen, which is done by removing the spot welds. Nex, the ramp is inserted with the sloped face towards the missing screen area. the bottom of the air ramp is placed into the pocket area near the gear on the end of the breather. The screw is then installed (with red Loctite #262 or equivalent) into the bottom hole of the breather, and then into the air ramp itself. This dramatically assists in crankcase ventilation, freeing up engine RPM and power. The stock gear flow 34.4 CFM @ 10”s and the new unit 54.87 CFM after installation. This part is for use on Big Twin Evos and Shovels of all years.
